Hi my name is Onyx and I’m a 21 year old model who has had a passion for being in front of the camera since I was 16 and officially modeling for about ongoing 3 years. I’m very confident and I have a huge passion for fashion. In my free time I’m probably reading a book, coloring or finding my latest binge worthy show. My goal is to put myself as far out as possible create as many connections and put myself in spaces with other individuals with the same collaborative goals within the creative community. I have countless creative ideas slowly building in hopes to be brought to light at some point within my journey as I constantly become and forever evolve. As a model my goal is to show those watching me that it’s not on you it’s within you. My love for modeling blossomed as my confidence also grew. From studying how models walked, learning the art of posing and flowing, and also watching high class fashion shows. Through my journey I also picked up creative direction and other modes of expression whether that’s journaling, poetry, story writing, and simply expressing for the love of the game. A space where I can freely throw all my ideas out as I bring them into the world. The goal is to create art that makes people stop and think. From my first ever creative project called Masking the shadow to my favorite project so far The performance of becoming. As a social butterfly and someone who thrives in spaces with like minded individuals there’s so much beauty to create within the world and as I use myself and others as a medium to bring beauty to light. One of my favorite quotes is “Limits are the domain of the limited” something I carry constantly within my life because I don’t believe in being limited. I see myself as someone who is impossible to categorize as I constantly evolve through life.
